‘Spandan –The Beats’, the Annual Function of U.K.G. organised by school today was a remarkable blend of songs and dances in which the budding flowers of UKG cast their spell on the audience with their commendable performance. The parents of the students were the special invitees to the programme. The students sought the blessings of Lord Ganesha through ‘Ganesh Stuti’. The items presented by the tiny-tots especially ‘Heritage of India’ in which they showed the culture of the different states of India and ‘Kaal Beliya’, a Rajasthani dance, won a great applause from the viewers. ‘Haryanvi dance’ and ‘Gujrati dance’ stole the hearts of the audience. ‘Aayi Pardes se’ –a girls’ dance really took the viewers on a flight of fantasy. The Puppet Show presented by the tiny-tots enthralled   one and all. With the purpose of keeping alive our rich Punjabi culture, ‘Giddha’ and ‘Bhangra’ put up by the students were a feast to the eyes. The show stealer of the day was the group dance performed by the children, their parents and teachers together on the medley of songs.

In her message, the Principal of the school Mrs. J.K.Sidhu thanked the parents who had come to watch the function and the teachers who had put in a lot of efforts. She also motivated the little ones with her encouraging words.
