DAV National Sports meet (U-19 Boys) 2014 was held at Jaipur from 5th-7th December, 2014. The boys of the school participated in the various Swimming events and emerged with flying colours.
Saksham Kapoor of XII won the Silver medal in the 200m butterfly event and Manav Bhardwaj of VIII also won Silver medal in 50m back stroke. It was a double Silver for the relay team comprising of Saksham Kapoor, Manav Bhardwaj, Sohail Singh and Abhimanyu who clinched Silver medals in (4x100m) medley relay and (4x100m) free style relay. Earlier Saksham Kapoor had won the Gold medal in the 200m butterfly stroke at the zonal level swimming competition held at Amritsar.
Mrs.J.K.Sidhu, the Principal of the school, congratulated the winners. She said that she was proud of them as they had brought laurels to the school. She wished them good luck for their future endeavours.
