Jasmeek Kaur Sekhon, a student of DAV BRS NAGAR has brought laurels to the institution by winning a Silver Medal in the track Asian championship held at Delhi from June 18 to June 22,2022.

It is an iconic moment for DAV BRS Nagar as it also celebrates its 40 glorious academic sessions this year since its inception.Jasmeek's unique feat has not only added another feather to the institution's cap but has also made Punjab as well as the country proud.

Jasmeek representing India won the silver medal by racing against Korea in the finals of 4 km team pursuit event. After the victory, she expressed her heartfelt gratitude especially towards her school principal and teachers who supported her at every juncture and motivated her to rise above the rest.

Principal J.K.Sidhu congratulated Jasmeek and her parents on her stupendous achievement. Expressing her delight, she added that Jasmeek scripted her success story with her hard work and determination. Showering her blessings upon Jasmeek, she prayed for Jasmeek's success in every future event.
