Teej is a festival of joy celebrated in Hindu month of Sawan and is associated with lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Known as teeyan in Punjab it is synonymous with mehndi adorn palms, flowers, bangles, traditional attire and mouth watering kheer and malpuras.
To mark the onset of monsoon every year, Teej is celebrated in our school where children enjoy the weather to the fullest by dancing ,singing, wearing traditional dresses and having some amazing festive food. In order to continue our school's tradition we celebrated a Virtual Teej so that children do not miss this joy.
Students of KG wing were asked to dress up in traditional attire and few activities were carried out like drawing and decorating swings ,palm, teej scenes and making garlands etc.
We are grateful to the parents who worked as a great team with the teachers to make the day memorable for the kids
