The students of classes IX and X of school got a unique opportunity of watching a play titled 'Importance of Teachers' by the Red Arts Punjab Artists. The play began with the role of teacher in the life of an individual and expressed pain at the present condition of teachers in society. It passingly touched the topic of present trend of immigration by the youth tempted by greener pastures.
The artists felt that India the land of martyrs, saints and sages has the potential to solve most of the problems that the country is facing today and exhorted the students not to run from the problems but face these in the spirit of bold men and women.
The students were mesmerized by the flawless acting of the artists and the way they touched a significant chord in their hearts.
The school management thanked the artists for addressing a burning issue where honour of the teacher is being compromised while aping the free culture of the west.
