24 July is observed as Income Tax Day.

Today, Mr. Manish Gupta, Joint Commissioner, Income Tax and Mrs. Kulwinder, Assistant Commissioner, Income Tax visited the school and administered oath to the students of class X to become active participants of ‘Clean India, Clean School’ and ‘Clean Money’ movement. They asked the students to be responsible citizens and contribute in spreading awareness for paying the income tax regularly and honestly in order to contribute in the growth story of the nation.Mr. Manish Gupta, in his address highlighted the role of each individual in the progress of nation and said that it was the moral duty of all the privileged people to pay for the welfare programs run for the under privileged by paying taxes. Tree plantation was also done on the campus to make the students part of ‘Clean and Green India Campaign’.

Students after taking the oath promised to be the good tax payers of the nation.
