‘Spandan’ Dazzles the Viewers

‘Spandan-The Beats’, the Annual Function of LKG was a remarkable blend of songs and dances in which the budding flowers of LKG cast their spell on the audience with their commendable performance today. The parents of the students were the special invitees to the programme. The students sought the blessings of Lord Ganesha through ‘Ganesh Stuti’. The items presented by the tiny-tots especially ‘Chanda-Mama’ in which they invited chandamama for the doll’s marriage and ‘Waka-Waka’,  a couple dance, won a great applause from the viewers. ‘Raghupati Raghav’- a fusion dance and ‘Hum India Vale’ stole the hearts of the audience. ‘Ban Ke Titali’ and ‘Kashmir Se Kanyakumari’ really took the viewers on a flight of fantasy. Different varieties of songs related to marriage presented by the students enthralled one and all. The tiny-tots portrayed beautifully the story of Bhagat Puran Singh through actions in ‘Still Dance’. ‘Bholi Surat dil ke Khotte’ and ‘Qawali’ were indeed a class apart. With the purpose of keeping alive our rich Punjabi Culture, ‘Giddha’ and “Bhangra’ put up by the students were a feast to the eyes. On the whole, the programme was a graceful display of the perfect movements of the budding flowers and was well received by one and all. In her message, the Principal of the school Mrs.J.K.Sidhu thanked the parents who had come to watch the function, the teachers who had put in a lot of efforts and motivated the little ones with her encouraging words.
