DAV BRS Nagar Conducts ‘Free Medical Camp’

‘26^th Road Safety Week’ is being observed in all schools affiliated to CBSE from 11^th Jan.,2015 to 17^th Jan, 2015. with the theme ‘Safety is not just a slogan, it’s a way of life’. Working in the same direction, the school is also organizing a number of activities during this week. A free medical camp for health check-up of class IV employees of the school was held on 12-01-2015 from 9:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m. A team of renowned doctors from Fortis Hospital, Ludhiana, Dr. Harish Matta (Sr.Consultant & HOD-General Surgery & Minimal Invasive Surgery) Dr.Rajat Bhatia (Senior Consultant- Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, Allergy & Voice Clinics), Dr.Deepak Gupta (Sr. Consultant & HOD Ophthalmology) & Dr.Harpreet Kaur (Consultant –Internal Medicine Staff) conducted the health checkup. A total of 60 staff members including class IV employees, drivers and conductors were examined for eyes, nose, throat and general health. The Principal of the school, Mrs.J.K.Sidhu said that these gestures go a long way to spread awareness amongst the students and the staff regarding Road Safety Measures and this endeavour would be a real learning experience for one and all.
