Alumni Meets are the moments of nostalgia and bring old friends closer once again. Today it was a red lettered day in the history of DAV Public School, BRS Nagar as it played host to its first class X and XII pass out batch. The campus wore a festive look and the staff and students were in high spirits to have to relive the past.

The alumni with their spouses started reaching well in time as everyone wanted to make best use of the time available in meeting, greeting and chatting with their childhood friends. The students of the school presented a colourful cultural programme for the alumni which set the mood and after this the alumni took over. The time ticked away unnoticed as the alumni presented jokes, songs and dance items for their friends. Ramp walk of the alumni with their spouses was the icing on the cake and everyone enjoyed it the most.

The school presented a token of bond to all the alumni belonging to 1993 batch and they expressed their gratitude to their alma mater for providing a strong foundation and preparing them for the life ahead when they hardly knew anything about life skills. The retired teachers of the school were the special invitees and their presence on the campus made it an emotionally charged reunion of the teachers and the taughts after a long gap.

Principal J. K. Sidhu thanked the alumni for their association with the school and their participation in the social projects undertaken by the school. She hoped that the reunion would further strengthen the bonds between the alumni and the school. All had a nice heart to heart talk over lunch to relive the past and carry fond memories back home.
