DAVCMC, Delhi attaches importance to holistic development of students and sports competitions are a part and parcel of school calendar .Today DAV National Cluster Level boys and girls Judo Tournament was held at DAV Public School, BRS Nagar, Ludhiana where five teams from the cluster competed with each other in different weight categories. The bouts from different judokas showed their expertise, physical and mental strength and preparedness for top honours. In total about 40 students participated in the tournament where official from Punjab Sports Department, Mr. Navdeep Jindal (Senior Judo Coach) supervised and judged the event. The school Local Managing Committee members Mr. Yogesh Soni and Mr. Ravi Kant graced the occasion to boost the morale of the participants.

In boys category Police DAV Jalandhar clinched the first position by bagging 7 Gold and 3 Silver Medals followed by MDDMS Nakodar at the second position with 3 Gold and 7 Silver Medals.

In girls category DAV Public School got the first position by bagging 7 Gold and 1 Silver Medals followed by Police DAV Jalandhar at the second position with 1 Gold   and 6 Silver Medals

Principal J.K. Sidhu congratulated the winners and appreciated the sportsmanship of all the participants. In her address she said that every best can be made better so each one needed to brace himself to improve his performance and win laurels.
