In accordance with the directions of CBSE Swachh Bharat - Swachh Vidyalya Campaign got underway in our school on Gandhi Jayanti. Under this campaign around 100 students of XI Commerce of the school participated in a cleanliness rally. The Principal Mrs.J.K.Sidhu flagged off the rally from the school premises. The principal along with 5 teachers joined the students and undertook to clean up the area around the school. They swept the area, picked up stones and disposed off the garbage. The students carried placards displaying slogans on cleanliness. According to the principal this rally would go a long way in making the dream of Gandhiji’s Clean India come true. The youngsters are also learning that the Moral Values of charity and cleanliness go hand in hand with education. The message went out loud and clear to all the residents around the school who vowed to join the cleanliness campaign.  The principal, Mrs.J.K.Sidhu exhorted the students to take a step forward in making the cleanliness campaign a success.
