Mr. Ayush Garg, an alumnus of DAV BRS Nagar, who cleared Civil Services Exams in 2015 securing 63 rank in first attempt delivered a talk on 'Career Planning and Goal Setting' for the students of classes XI and XII.  Ayush Garg a qualified CA quit his job with ITC limited to join Civil Services with a passion to serve the society. In his interaction with the students he asked them to start early to reap rich dividends. He stressed on having a clear- cut strategy to achieve desired goals. If a student is thorough with the syllabus then he is sure to hitch his wagon to the stars. His key words,” It is not aptitude but attitude that decides ones altitude” made the students prepare themselves for the challenges in life while facing criticism. He asked the students to be flexible in their approach as life doesn't move as per our planning.  He said that those who are ready to take the hardest punch and gain ground subsequently are the ones to carry the crown.

While answering the queries of the students he asked them to shun negativity, remain focused and filter out significant from insignificant as these are the only success mantras in life. While highlighting the role of the family he asked students to interact with their families as they are the anchors in the stormy seas and provide much needed support during the turbulent times of life.
