The two days M R campaign - an initiative of the Central Government to eradicate the deadly MR disease came to a close today in DAV BRS Nagar with the vaccination of second batch of students from classes Pre KG to III.

Dr. Pardeep Mahindra, co-ordinator of the campaign in the school and his team of doctors and health workers vaccinated about 1300 students in total. The school had requested the parents of the students of the Pre Primary wing to accompany their wards for vaccination. Elaborate arrangements like screening of cartoon films, rhymes music and dance were arranged for the comfort of the tiny tots. The campaign received an overwhelming response from all quarters and no incident of dizziness, nausea or fever were reported. The rapport between the tiny tots and the doctors soothed the students and helped them dispel the fear of injection.

Principal Mrs. J.K. Sidhu thanked the team of doctors, health workers, parents and the school staff for their contribution in making the campaign a huge success in the school and thus leading to a healthy next generation.
