Today the students of classes 9th - 1lth became part of the campaign launched by the Income Tax Department to create awareness among young citizens to pay their taxes.
Shri Binay Kumar Jha, Chief Commissioner of Income Tax Department along with his team of dedicated officers told the students about the importance of taxes in the development of the country at all levels.The students took a pledge to pay their taxes honestly and motivate others around them to pay taxes and contribute in the improvement of the infrastructure and defenceequipments of the country. Shri Binay Kumar Jha in his lecture also asked the students to play their role in promoting clean money, clean air and, clean India. He encouraged them to plant more trees and appreciated the vertic'al garden being created by the school. The guests also planted trees on the campus to promote clean and green India. Principal Mrs. J.K.Sidhu on behalf of the audience promised to play an important role in motivating others to pay their taxes honestly, to make India a developed nation.
