Sharing,mutual love,understanding and cooperation are forgotten ideals in today's materialistic world. Value education in schools and colleges can help in reforming our society and restoring our faith in humanity. Responding to this need ,a motivational lecture “Inculcating moral values and character building” was organised in the school today under the aegis of 'Prerna Vidya Peeth'. Swami Adhytmananda ji Maharaj (Head, Swami Sivananda Ashram, Ahmadabad)was the Chief Guest and the students of IX class were in attendance. There existed a unique charm and an environment of excitement in the school premises on his arrival. Also present on the occasion were the members of 'Prerna Vidya Peeth'.

Swami ji talked about the importance of  being focused and determined. He asked the students to go for self analysis and realise the role assigned to each human during his stay on this earth and perform the role with honesty and patience for the betterment of the world. He said that we all are in pursuit  of knowledge so it is our duty  to assimilate facts and wisdom to be better individuals. He during the course of his lecture explained the significance of rendition of 'om' for healthy body, calm mind and success in all endeavours. He transported the gathering to another world full of peace & bliss. He highlighted the importance of blood-donation & organ-donation.

Principal Mrs. J.K. Sidhu in her vote of thanks exhorted the students to tread the path of spirituality shown by Swami ji so that national welfare & spiritual growth can take place.
