Deepawali Craft Exhibition

Education trains an individual and recognizes and sharpens the talent of an individual. Each child is unique and gifted and school today exhibited the creativity of young artists in the Deepawali Craft Exhibition. The school wore a festive look as it was all set for Deepawali Craft Exhibition. Mrs. Swaranjit Kaur, district education officer,(Secondary) Ludhiana was the guest of honour and she inaugurated the exhibition. She took a round of exhibition and appreciated the diyas and candles decorated by the students, colourful rangolis, shagun envelopes, cushions, scarves and T-shirts painted by the students under the able guidance of their teachers. Mrs. Swaranjit Kaur commended the efforts of the students that took shape of beautiful photo frames and jewellery boxes from waste material.
The visitors to the exhibition enthusiastically purchased candles, diyas and other decorative material for the forthcoming festival. There was a great foot fall in the exhibition and the LMC members encouraged the students to keep up the good work which comes handy as it provides various avenues to the students to increase their pocket money. The visitors also enjoyed Ram Darbar being staged in the auditorium transporting all to the times of Lord Rama.
Principal Mrs. JK Sidhu lauded the efforts of the students and teachers and talked about the employment opportunities available in the fields of handicraft. She gave the message of eco-friendly Diwali to all for the sake of cleaner environment.
