33 Girl cadets of DAV BRS Nagar attended a 10 day Combined Annual Training Camp- 82 held at NCC Academy Malout from 4th July to 13th July 2022. Cadets from 12 schools across Punjab participated in the camp which aimed at imparting training skills in respect of drill, weapon training, adventure activities, map reading etc.
The girl cadets who have been receiving NCC training in the school participated with great zeal in all the activities organised by 6(PB) Girls Battalion, Malout and won 29 Gold medals and 12 Silver medals. Anusha of class IX was adjudged the best cadet. The school NCC cadet team is now eligible for NCC-A exam. Apart from the students NCC incharge of the school Ms Kirandeep Kaur has been appointed as Third officer (Associate NCC Officer) of NCC Dte PHHP&C.
Principal Mrs. J.K.Sidhu congratulated the winners and appreciated the team's commendable performance in the camp. She apprised the students with the importance of NCC in student's life and exhorted them to strive further for achieving excellence in academics, co-curricular activities, sports and in all other fields.
