5th June- World Environment Day was celebrated in the school by the students of class IX and X under the care and guidance of their Science teachers and members of Eco Club of the school.

The students took a "Green Faith Pledge" to protect the environment by taking certain measures like switching off lights/fans and closing water taps when not needed, following 5Rs( Reduce, Refuse, Reuse, Recycle and Recover), using Car pooling, reducing the use of plastic, following rain water harvesting practices etc etc.
Students also participated enthusiastically in poster making and decorated big cloth sheets with their posters and hand imprints, conveying clear message regarding their resolve to protect the environment. It's very important to sensitize the minds of the young students, who can further play the role of ambassadors of Environment Protection and create awareness amongst masses.
