The school today was bathed in the spirit of republic day. The campus was donned in tricolor and it was Jai ho India Slogan that reverberated the campus.
The event began with the unfurling of the tricolour by Principal Mrs. J. K. Sidhu followed by parade and brief cultural programme by the primary wing of the school.
The magnificent parade with poise and grace reminded one and all of the soldiers who put in undying efforts in the service of the nation. The patriotic songs and dances highlighting supreme sacrifices and love for nation made everyone’s heart swell with pride. The tiny tots learnt the lesson of the service to the motherland and play the role of beautiful citizens to take the name of the country to the greater heights.
Principal Mrs. J. K. Sidhu in her address highlighted the role of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar in drafting the constitution of India and making it a sovereign, secular and democratic state. She also urged the students to uphold the principles of democracy and stay related to the beloved motherland.
