Lohri, the famous seasonal festival of Punjab was celebrated with fervour in the school today. The day began with Hawan Yagna performed by the students of Classes VIII-X along with the Principal of the school and teachers. Invocations were made to the God Almighty asking for His blessings.
The students of KG Wing also celebrated Lohri with great enthusiasm. The tiny tots enjoyed dancing around the bonfire and eating traditional delicacies of the festival. Kids dressed in colourful dresses brought spring season in advance on the campus of the school.
Further, the staff members of the school also enjoyed the Lohri bash. While dancing on the beats of the Dhol offerings to the bonfire prayer for health, happiness and well being of all was asked for.
Mrs. J.K. Sidhu, Principal of the school blessed all the staff members and students and prayed for the welfare of all.
