Ramanujan the great mathematician is revered in the world for his contribution to the subject and school paid a tribute to him on his birthday by organizing a Mathematics Exhibition. Use of figures and models in Mathematics not only makes the concepts easy to grasp but also brings life into mundane. Keeping this in mind, the school orgainsed a Mathematics Exhibition in which students exhibited several models covering simple to complex mathematical concepts.
The students displayed their creativity in Still models, working models and PPTs to explain the concepts of Area, Volume, Symmetry etc. The beautiful and educative models at display made even the students disinterested in the subject to feel interested in the new techniques for teaching of Mathematics. The tricky games for various solutions and the innovative methods of teaching tables were aimed at simplifying the concepts for the young learners.
Principal, Mrs. J.K. Sidhu, appreciated the efforts made by the students under the supervision of the teachers. She expressed hope that such beautiful model would take phobia of the subject out from the minds of the students.
