School presented a splendid and colourful look as Teej festivities brought about a nice change from the usual humdrum of school routine. The Punjabi Department of the school had orchestrated the entire show in co-ordination with the other departments.
Traditional items associated with Panjabi culture at display were a visual treat for one and all and transported the onlookers to rural Punjab. The school grounds were abuzz with activities. While on one side the decorated swings invited the girls to enjoy them to the hilt, on the other side girls from different sections from respective classes competed with one other in traditional games like hop scotch marbles and skipping. There were competitions in paranda braiding, mehandi application and Punjabi folk singing. Following students were declared winners in these competitions:

The judges for the contest were Ms. Neelu Sharma famous TV Artist and Additional Distt. Attorney, Ludhiana and Ms. Dolly Malhotra who is running a leading fashion studio in the city. Principal Mrs. J.K. Sidhu thanked the judges for sparing their valuable time to be part of this contest. In her lecture she stressed on the need for such events that not only help students to have a feel of our rich culture but also keeps them rooted to their motherland.
