A teacher is a learner throughout his life and in order to equip DAV teachers with the latest techniques and innovations in teaching DAV Centre for Academic Excellence, a unit of DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi organised One Day Capacity Building Workshops for the PGTs of Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Mathematics for the teachers of DAV Schools of Ludhiana zone.

Dr. B. B. Sharma, Principal DAV College, Jalandhar and Regional Director of Ludhiana zone was present in the inaugural session to address the participants. Dr. B.B. Sharma stressed on better bonding with the students and being demonstrative in the classroom to help students take home the concept. Principal of the host school, Mrs. J. K. Sidhu started the session with an informative video highlighting the role and duties of a teacher to shake the lives of the students under his/her care. She also stressed on co-relating bookish content with real life that helps in better understanding of the concepts, thus simplifying knowledge for learners.

Principal Mrs. J. K. Sidhu thanked the resource persons for the reskilling session that not only enriched the knowledge of the participant but also sharpened their teaching strategies.
